New Single 'In The Past' Out 25 June 2026

Liverpool duo Visions of Albion release their new single 'In The Past' on 25 June 2026, a reflective and melodic track that has quietly become one of the longest-serving songs in the band's repertoire.

Originally written in 2021, 'In The Past' has remained a constant presence in the duo's live set, evolving over time while retaining the spirit of the original idea. Exploring themes of acceptance, forgiveness and moving forward, the song reflects on the process of letting go of difficult experiences and finding peace with what has been left behind.

Musically, the track blends laid-back psychedelia with subtle grunge influences, creating a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. Recorded at Crosstown Studios, it was produced by the band, mixed alongside engineer Jon Lawton and mastered by Nick Lewis at Old Cottage Audio.

Following previous single 'Avenues', 'In The Past' showcases another side of Visions of Albion's songwriting. Less rooted in a traditional singer-songwriter approach and more focused on the chemistry of musicians playing together, the track points towards the broader sound of the duo's forthcoming album, currently scheduled for release later in 2026.

A song that has travelled with the band for years, 'In The Past' finally arrives as the recording its creators always believed it could be.
